Our Perfomance This Period
November 1st - 15th 2009 3.9% Greater Gain in 1 Month than the S&P 500
Our Aggressive Growth Portfolio (the blue line) continued to grow faster than the S&P 500 (the red line)this month as shown by the chart to the right.

RISK: Miniscule Portfolio Risk
While the S&P 500 suffered no drawdown this period, our Account Builder Aggressive Growth portfolio's lowest value was just $36 or -0.2% less than our October 30th value. Despite this, we finished with a profit of 1.2% this first half of November.
Smaller drawdowns indicate the investment manager's ability to cut risk.

Portfolio Changes
So far this year, we have adjusted our portfolios 40 times, 28 of which have resulted in a portfolio gain, maintaining our characteristically top performance. Of the total changes this year, 70% have been profitable. Below is a recap of the changes we made this period to protect the accounts of our Aggressive Growth portfolio. (We take the same care with our other portfolios, but their percentage changes are not shown here.)

Our Barometer
Our constant goal is to exceed the performance of our benchmark, the S&P 500 Index. Our Year-To-Date gain is 86.5% more than that of the S&P 500 and we are very pleased about that. As we've said in the past, our other objective is to avoid loss. We consistently achieve this goal.
The money that the US Federal Reserve continues to pump into the US Economy is currently holding up the domestic equity markets. The continuing global fall in the value of the US Dollar is another factor holding up the value of US equity markets; our dollar's value persists on falling to record levels of weakness. The stock market will probably maintain its high levels as long as the Fed carries on the policy of near-zero interest rates (which it has announced it will go on with).

In the meantime, the market continues to recover as shown by the chart to above (click to enlarge).
As you can see, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is not even with the late 2007 level. With the Fed's constant help, the markets may get back to 2007 levels. Nevertheless, Crescive Financial is on a perpetual watch for a market downturn. When one comes -- and one will come, we will work to protect the account values of our clients.
