Fund Summary The investment seeks to generate current income consistent with preservation of capital. The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in fixed-income securities. It may invest in a broad range of fixed-income securities with short- to long-term maturity denominated in local currency or U.S. Dollar. The fund normally invests at least 75% of assets in fixed-income securities rated investment grade at the time of investment and may invest up to 25% of assets in below investment grade fixed-income securities. It may use borrowings or other leverage for investment purposes.

Peebles is an executive vice president, chief investment officer and co-head of fixed income with AllianceBernstein, his employer since 1987. He has been in a substantially similar capacity to his current position since prior to 2001.
